Why did you decide to do an MBA?
I had been working at Airbus for three years; if we
released an aircraft for a new company then I
would be the interface. I was comfortable. I was
earning good money. But something was missing
and I was bored. The aerospace industry is quite
narrow so I wanted to broaden my skillset, get out
of my comfort zone, and see what kind of an
impact I can really make. Ultimately I want to have
my own business.
What’s the student community like at Hult?
We’re all so different in terms of industry and
cultural background. You can learn so much from
everyone. It is a very intense program that creates
friendships for life. We’re all here to change our
lives for the better. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime
opportunity to get to know people from all over
the world who share the same goal as you.
Have you changed during your year here?
My mindset has changed thanks to the leadership
course. At first I was skeptical, but you end up
realizing that you’re not the only one with the
“right” mindset. Everyone can be right in their own
way. This is why you need a growth mindset—to
help you understand different perspectives. It’s
completely changed my way of analyzing and
processing things.
