A day in my life
as a Hult student
Hi, I’m Dwayne Logan and I’m studying for my MBA at
Hult London. I like to get under the hood of a place and
discover the small scenes and subcultures. I also make and
perform beats that sample jazz and R&B. I love the energy
of live rap and jazz music. This is what my typical day looks
like here at Hult...
There’s a lot of unnecessary stress
that comes with working in business.
My mission is to simplify things and
ease the lives of those I work with or
who come after me.
We devised a marketing plan for a luxury hotel in
London. As one of the only people in my cohort
from an advertising background, it was interesting
seeing how my perspective was received.
Dwayne’s typical day
7:00 AM 9:00 AM 10:20 AM 12
I usually take the bus
straight in to campus from
my apartment in King’s
Cross. It takes less than
20 minutes door to door.
Travel here is so cheap
and convenient. Today starts with a
coaching session focused
on effective debriefing
and feedback strategies. 20-minute break: head to
the coffee station on the
fourth floor to re-energize
and check my emails. Grab lunch with my
challenge team. The world
food market nearby has
pretty much every cuisine
you can imagine.
