Mayim Magazine V.4 Sept/Oct 2014 | Page 3

In this Issue...

In our last issue we focused on harmony in the Holy Land in the midst of a war with Hamas. Nothing can bring people together more than holidays. In this issue we will focus on the upcoming holiday season that includes many holy days for many people. David’s Star will do this by profiling some Israeli organizations that contribute to the nation’s celebrations.

Additionally, we will have a special and lengthy opinion piece regarding the various aspects of the holidays some of the readers of this magazine may have in common. In addition to citing historical sources we will feature perspective from two noteworthy experts in the Christian and Jewish faith. The piece does not condemn or endorse any particular view, but seeks to present some facts and opinion on some hot-button topics about holidays.

Whatever holidays you celebrate you will likely be buying yourself or someone else a present. For our anti-BDS article we will focus on the boycott of Israeli goods.

As Israel has just concluded another war, we will feature a long-time Israeli war hero who has continued to pour his life into Israel for decades since he retired from the military.
