“I’m always telling people to only buy shofars from a reliable source that is under the supervision of the Rabbinate. There are a lot of shofars that are being sold that are not made appropriately, they have cracks and other imperfections that are being sold from around the world. There are factories in China and Morocco where they are not made properly. I encourage people to use a proper shofar.”
