Then you shall see and be radiant; your heart shall thrill and exult, because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, the wealth of the nations shall come to you. Isaiah 60:5.
For Aaron Eime with CMJ, the unity of a group of over 30 people from Israel, Canada and the U.S. stood out. He noted that as the trip unfolded every team member had a sense of ownership from each responsibility they were tasked with whether it was setting up tables or taking in offerings.
One of the more astounding things that happened during the trip was the vast amount of gold and silver that was donated. Miriam Wakefield with the Loving God Blessing Israel project shared that it was not just people with a lost piece of jewelry, but prized precious metals were donated, including wedding rings from the fingers of meeting attendees.
This unique occurrence made the Loving God Blessing Israel prayer team to seek answers as to why these treasures were being given. They were pointed to not only the Exodus from Egypt, but also the return after the Babylonian captivity.
Sharon noted that when God put it on king Cyrus’ heart to send the Jewish people home to rebuild the temple, the edict was to send the Jews back with gold, silver and freewill offerings at the end of the 70 year exile. The number 70 was the answer for the team. The Loving God Blessing Israel tour was happening exactly 70 years since the end of WWII when the Nazis created a Kanada House that was used to plunder the Jewish people of their treasures.
Sharon added, “Now here we are 70 years later building a Canada House in Israel returning gold and silver and freewill offerings."
Aaron also noted how it is the start of the 70th Jubilee since Joshua entered Canaan.
