DIRECTIONS IN ENGLISH
To solve a Maya Cosmic Number Puzzle, you must put a number
from 1 to 9 in each spot of an empty box, and there are two spots in
each box. Each box will have, when completed, a two digit number.
Each number must appear only once in each spot of each horizontal
row, as well as in each vertical column. See the examples on the
following pages.
This puzzle uses the numbers 1-9 in two digit combinations in such
a way that (1) each first digit only occurs once in any row or column,
(2) each second digit only occurs once in any row or column, and
(3) each two digit combination occurs exactly once in any puzzle.
This puzzle book also has the the numbers 0 to 8 (zero to eight) that
it uses.
A more detailed set of directions and in color are easily found on our
main web site. We also have You Tube videos that show different
puzzles being solved. Solutions can be found at the back of the
book. Solutions are in section two and are numbered with the same
numbers as their corresponding puzzles to make it easy on you to
check your progress.
HINT: You need to find the rows and columns that need the least
blanks to fill in and start with them.
