BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING March 1, 2026 11 AM Canterbury Park, Shakopee, MN MINUTES

Meeting was called to order by Lynn-Ellen St. Martin at 11 AM Public Open Comment: None Secretary’ s Report: Liz Bauer
It was noted that the banquet procedure was motioned to be reactivated 02 / 05 / 2025, so statement that it is being reactivated is irrelevant.
Motion made by James Duenow, seconded by Paul Hansen to approve the February 4, 2026 Board Meeting Minutes, with a correction as noted above. Motion carried unanimously.

Balance Sheet and Income Statement was presented, YTD Net Income( Loss) is $ 6,461.34. LYTD was($ 11,646.46). It was noted that the negative difference last year was due to the fact that we made a $ 10,000 down payment to Simon’ s for 2025 Champ Show rentals.
Monthly transactions were also reviewed. Mandy is looking into ordering checks through Quickbooks.
A motion was made by Lori Taylor, seconded by Keith Sather, to approve the February 28, 2026 Treasurer’ s report, subject to audit. Motion carried unanimously.
Correspondence: 16 club memberships and dues were turned in since the February 4 th Board meeting. Of the 16 club memberships turned in, 2 were new WSCA Clubs; Buffalo Ridge Riders and Curly Gaits Saddle Club. This brings 2026 memberships received to date to 144 clubs. This time last year we were at 151 clubs.
