ARRIVAL DAY: Tuesday, September 16, 2025 Barn & Show Office Open at 4pm
GAME HORSE ARRIVAL: Friday, September 19, 2025 Barn Open for Game horses at APPROXIMATELY 9PM
ROYALTY CONTEST: Wednesday, September 17, 2025 | Starting at 9am Royalty Contestant Open Riding( Contestants Only): Wednesday, September 17, 2025 | 7:30am- 8:45am
OPEN RIDING: { NO Lunging in indoor arena, please use outdoors for lunging } TUESDAY 9 / 16: 5pm until 7:15am Wednesday Morning WEDNESDAY 9 / 17- TUESDAY 9 / 23: Following last class of day until 6:30am
If time permits, there will be open riding following the Queen’ s Contest until 11:30am Wednesday, September 17.
REGISTRATION
There will be more information available in the upcoming months regarding class registration, stalling and fees.
LATE ENTRIES Late entries will be accepted after August 25, 2024 at DOUBLE the fees.
A negative coggins is REQUIRED and must be uploaded to your online account prior to entering.
REFUNDS

Refunds for entry fees will be given only in the case of an illness or injury to the horse or rider. Refunds for any other reason will not be given. A doctor’ s letter, or a letter from your veterinarian stating the reason you cannot participate, MUST be submitted to the show office or emailed to wscachampshow @ gmail. com no later than Friday, September 26, 2025. No refunds will be given for stalling or parking / electrical.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Qualification dates for the 2025 WSCA Championship Show are from 8 / 12 / 2024 thru 8 / 10 / 2025. You must have qualified between those dates to be eligible to enter.
• Riders must be a member in good standing of a WSCA Saddle Club as of May 31, 2025, and their name must appear on the WSCA Membership List.
• Riders must have placed either first or second at a WSCA judged horse show in a WSCA qualifying class within the qualifying dates listed above.
CLASS & AGE DIVISIONS
Riders must ride in their appropriate age class, and correct pony size corresponding to age. Class and age divisions are to be determined as of January 1, 2025. Class and age divisions are:
Pet Pony: 48” and under pony | Rider 10 yrs. & under Pony: 54” and under pony | Rider 13 yrs. & under PeeWee: Horse or Pony over 54” | Rider 10 yrs. & under Junior Rider: Horse over 54” | Rider 11 to 13 yrs. Intermediate Rider: 14 to 17 yrs. Senior Rider: 18 to 34 yrs. Sr + Rider: 35 to 49 yrs. Sr. 50 + Rider: 50 yrs. and over
PONY MEASUREMENT
All Ponies MUST be measured at the Champ Show prior to their class. Ponies must show in their appropriate size and age appropriate class.
PONY MEASUREMENT TIMES TUESDAY: 8pm-9pm | THURSDAY: 8am-9am FRIDAY: 9pm-10pm | SATURDAY: 7am-8am
SAFETY / GROUNDS
• Rail classes will not have more than 20 exhibitors in cuts.
• The WSCA Championship Show Committee is committed to providing the best ground possible. With the exhibitors and their horses safety on the forefront.
• Decisions made by the descretion of the WSCA Championship Show Committee are final.
• Upon entering, exhibitors agree to follow the Championship Horse Show rules and agree to hold the MN State Fair, WSCA, Board of Directors, Show Committee harmless for any / all damages that may occur.
AWARDS / PAYOUT
• Regular classes will be awarded a trophy and ten ribbons, along with payout for each placing. If class has under 20 exhibitors, the max payout will be 50 % of entries.
PLEASURE PATTERNS
• Pleasure patterns will be posted no later than Friday, September 12, 2025.
NON-STOCK TYPE
• A Non-Stock Type Western Pleasure class is open to horses that are lighter in build than the stock horse breeds including, but not limited to, horses of Arabian, Morgan and / or Saddlebred type.
4-IN-A-LINE
• A horse / rider combo may enter and ride in only ONE 4-in-line barrels team. Rider can ride in up to 2 teams, with different horses.
