There is a lot I still have to cover on this topic as far as what to do to improve your health in these
regards. I guess I will have to do part 2 next month☺.
P-Diddy, The Alter Ego
Prasanna began training with us at Newell Strength close to a
year ago. Since that time, he has transformed in more ways than
one.
I always preach that a physical transformation cannot happen in
a vacuum, the mind and spirit will influence the body and vice
versa.
As you can see in the picture, Prasanna has a wave cap on. You
see, he has an alter ego named P-Diddy, a nickname I gave him
within the first month.
It was just another touch to his rapidly developing alter-ego, way
to get in touch with his alpha side a bit more.
But make no mistake about it, this article isn’t about P-Diddy specifically, it’s about YOU too.
Developing an alter-ego is a way to do things that you wouldn’t be able to do otherwise. We are all
limited by our self-image and self-beliefs.
One of my favorite questions to ask in a Mind Map session when someone tells me that they can’t do
so and so, I retort, ‘But what if you could?’
Invariably they come up with the answer because by asking the question at the right time, they have
been given permission to not be limited by their current self-image.
There are so many times in my life that I have let my caring nature get in the way, putting others
before myself and even before my family.
The first step in overcoming the issue of saying yes to everyone and everything was to ask myself the
question, ‘Who am I saying no to when I am saying yes?’
That may be a bit confusing to read, so read it again.
We are always saying no to someone and usually that someone is ourselves of those that are closest to
us.
