Until this time, when he made a commitment to training before work and I am happy to say that he has stuck with that the past 3 months! His body has changed and his strength has shot up like crazy! I witnessed him hammer out a set of 10 pull-ups the other week and just had to stand there with a smile on my face, reminiscing about how far he had come. Harris deserves this because he has employed the attitude of never, never, never, never quit. Way to go Harris and thank you for inspiring us all! Book of the Month: The Unbeatable Man Maybe I am a little biased, but when my Coach, Matt Furey, gave me one of his books a few weeks ago, I decided it would make good reading material for the plane ride home. This is a novel, but a non- fiction sort. This is the story of Matt’s senior year of high school wrestling. I actually read it in one day and I cried. Matt has the ability to communicate in a way that few other people can communicate. I am a basketball player at heart but I have always been intrigued by and admired the sport of wrestling. If you are looking for a quick, entertaining hit of inspiration, check out the Unbeatable Man by Matt Furey. Without further ado, let’s dive into this insidious world of the ‘cholesterol drug’ medications. Sixty years ago, a PHd named Ancel Keys came up with the ‘lipid hypothesis’ which infers: saturated fat runs up cholesterol levels, and elevated cholesterol leads to heart disease. Nice and simple, but it ain’t true. It has never been proven and thus is still call the lipid hypothesis.
