May is finally here !
The WSCA royal court has been staying very busy as the warmer weather approaches and more events draw near . Recently , we attended the WSCA Royalty Clinic held in Chaska , MN and met some wonderful ladies . Throughout the day we answered questions about the royalty contest , played some games , and showed our own videos of the contest . If you did not attend the clinic but would like more information on what you could do to prepare for the upcoming Royalty contest , please do not hesitate to reach out to myself or any of the other court members , we would love to chat with you ! The Royalty application is now live and posted on wsca . org so please be sure to check that out if you haven ’ t already , there are a ton of great incentives this year that will ensure you will have the best year being queen ! The contest was an experience that I could never forget and the people I met , and the friends I made throughout it will forever be one of my favorite memories . A few days after the clinic , the court and I packed up our things and headed to the MN State Fairgrounds for the Horse Expo . We met so many new and familiar faces and it was amazing to see the support and love our community has for WSCA . During the expo we were able to sign autograph cards and help little cowgirls and cowboys decorate their crowns to wear around the expo , I hope some of you were able to take some home to your littles as well ! We were also able to walk around a bit and chat with some of the other vendors there as well as members that we saw walking around , we took so many pictures and had such a great time representing ! One of the highlights of the Expo was attending the western showcase on Thursday as well as the PRCA rodeo on Friday and Saturday night ! The expo was gracious enough to donate free tickets for our court to attend the rodeo both nights , and we were so grateful ! It was so great to be able to watch the rodeo and chat with some of the attendees between events ! May is full of events to help you and your horse get ready for the quickly approaching show season , but I am most excited for the upcoming WSCF fundraiser show held on May 20-22nd in Cannon Falls , MN ! This will be an event that you do not want to miss . There are a ton of prizes that will be awarded and given away throughout the weekend as well as prize money . There will also be a silent auction that will directly benefit the Foundation . I cannot wait to see you at this event and many upcoming ones as well !
