ProSiebenSat. 1 extends Habets contract
German commercial broadcaster ProSiebenSat. 1 Media has extended Bert Habets’ contract as Group CEO for another three years( to October 2028). ProSiebenSat. 1 says it has achieved“ significant successes” since Habets took
office. Under his leadership, Joyn has been established as the most successful ad-supported, freely available streaming platform in the German-speaking region with 10m monthly users. Habets and his leadership team have also taken decisive measures to strengthen the company’ s competitiveness and cost base in a challenging market environment. Furthermore, the company has successfully streamlined its portfolio to focus on its core business, as evidenced by the recent Verivox, Urban Sports Club and About You divestments.
Mahon steps down as Channel 4 CEO
Alex Mahon is stepping down as CEO of commercial PSB Channel 4 and will leave the business this summer. She joined the organisation in 2017 as the channel’ s first female CEO.

All3Media launch Demand Drama FAST channel
Independent distributor All3Media International is expanding its portfolio of FAST channels with the launch of original new FAST channel Demand Drama, which has been
available in the UK since April 2025.
Answering the continued demand for free-to-watch premium drama content, All3 says Demand Drama brings audiences a diverse variety of acclaimed titles. The schedule mixes‘ cosy crime’ dramas and gripping crime thrillers with beloved family-friendly favourites,
landmark dramas and addictive soaps. The channel will also offer regular themed days, with the launch month schedule featuring a weekly‘ Crime Sundays’.
