CONDUCTOR
Kyle Flubacker
A good conductor must tune in to the musicians in the room and know how to collaborate. At its best, conducting is a shared process of music making. Conductors don’ t produce sound directly, but we can influence how musicians make their sound. When I watch conductors I admire, their connection with both the music and the musicians is remarkable to experience. It ' s one of the great joys of music making— that there are endless possibilities for how music can be expressed.
