NDX Thayer Celebrates its 45 th Anniversary with Donation to the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic
As part of NDX Thayer ’ s 45 th anniversary celebration in serving the dental profession , all customers who sent 45 implant cases to the laboratory in 2022 had a $ 100 donation made in their name to the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic . On February 28 , at a meeting of the clinic ’ s board of directors , a check was presented representing the 39 customers who met the goal of 45 implant cases .
In presenting the donation , Robert Gitman , NDX Thayer ’ s General Manager said , “ We chose to partner with the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic for this donation since their mission , like ours , is to help restore smiles – improving patient ’ s functional and psychological wellness .”
Since its founding in 1938 , the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic has been at the forefront of treatment and research , creating a model of care that is embraced world-wide as the standard of cleft care . The clinic treats more than 6,000 patients each year and its reliance on community support is especially important as the nation ’ s sole independent cleft treatment clinic , the only one not embedded in a major medical center or university .
