“ Being a recipient of PDA ’ s 10 Under 10 Award is a great honor made even greater by the cohort of young PA dentists with whom I am so lucky to share in this recognition . I have had the good fortune to spend time getting to know and befriend most of the dentists being recognized this year and more who go unrecognized , and the passion in Pennsylvania for the betterment of our community is both inspiring and energizing ,” Dr . Lewin said .
“ Organized dentistry is such an integral part of who I am as a dentist . I adhere to the adage , ‘ if you ’ re not at the table , you ’ re on the menu ,’ and I refuse to be on the menu . Having the opportunity to shape the future of this wonderful profession through volunteer leadership and create meaningful relationships with other dentists ( both new and not-so-new ) who are passionate about their fellow dentists , the profession as a whole , and the patients we all serve continues to be a highlight of my career . The future of dentistry feels particularly bright in Pennsylvania with such talented , open-minded , and welcoming young dentists working together .”
