“ Sealants Make Sense .”

This year , the American Dental Association ( ADA ) reminded us that “ Sealants Make Sense ” during February ’ s National Children ’ s Dental Health Month ( NCDHM ).
PDA distributed information about the annual promotion and our poster contest to schools and member dentists statewide beginning in December . In addition , we also used our social media channels to let more families know about the contest . PDA ’ s electronic lesson plan kits contained an informational piece geared toward third-grade students , classroom activities , coloring sheets and interactive games . More than 1,250 complimentary posters were distributed to private and public schools , in addition to posters requested by member dentists to display in their offices .
