This year , we expanded the scope for advertising National Children ’ s Dental Health Month ( NCDHM ) and our annual poster contest . In addition to distributing information about the promotion and our poster contest to schools and member dentists statewide , we also used our social media channels to let more families know about the contest . We received several requests from our homeschooling families for PDA ’ s electronic lesson plan kits , which were also made available to schools and members . This contained an informational piece geared toward third-grade students , classroom activities , coloring sheets and interactive games . Hundreds of complimentary posters were distributed to private and public schools as well as homeschooled students across the state . Additionally , several member dentists requested posters to display in their offices .
