New for 2018, the American Dental
Association (ADA) partnered with Crest and
Oral B to promote this year’s slogan:
"Brush your teeth with fluoride toothpaste
and clean between your teeth for a healthy
smile," during February’s National Children’s
Dental Health Month (NCDHM).
We distributed information about the promotion and our poster
contest to schools and member dentists statewide beginning in
January. PDA’s electronic lesson plan kits contained an informational
piece geared toward third-grade students, classroom activities,
coloring sheets and interactive games. Nearly 2,000 complimentary
posters were distributed to dental and orthodontic offices as well
as many of the schools across the state.
Brush your teeth twice a day
with a fluoride toothpaste. Clean between your
teeth daily.
Eat a healthy diet that limits
sugary beverage and snacks. See your dentist regularly
for prevention and treatment
of oral disease.
