Masters of Multi-tasking AKA MOMS, Multi-Tasking 101 have a day of celebration headed their way! It goes without saying, how very much deserved it is for the countless women who have stepped up as Mother figures including Aunts, older Sisters, Grandmas, Mothers In Law, Stepmoms, and so many others. Their lessons, wisdom, and selflessness do not go overlooked. Check out these lessons taught by the moms of some of our team members... “The most valued lesson I’ve learned from my mom is FAMILY COMES FIRST. The even more awesome lesson is watching her put this in action all the time.” Christina Lesson Learned: Unconditional Love. “Oh gosh, my mom is one of the most beautiful people in my life. She has been with me through it all. You see her, you see me. She is not only my mother. She is my girlTina (left) with Mom friend. When my dad retired , he wanted to move so they packed the U-Haul truck up and left me here in Virginia .They moved to Dover. I didn’t talk to her for two months. She asked why I was mad at her and I said ‘you left me mom.’ She said well Tina you are grown and married and have a family. One day I won’t be here but one thing is for sure I will always love you and never be far away.“ Tina Payton, Credit Specialist Figueroa, Training Manager Lesson Learned: Grandmoms are moms, only better! Martika’s grandma Rosa taught her how to cook, something she is very proud of. “Hearing her encouragement about wanting me to learn to cook just like her and tasting all of the foods as she finished them” was all it took. “Seeing her in the kitchen even before she passed was beautiful, she was still so happy to cook” and spend time with me.
