SVRCS FOUNDATION
The mission of the SVRCS Foundation is to support and enhance the development , school improvement initiatives , and programs of Sugar Valley Rural Charter School .
The SVRCS Foundation is comprised of a volunteer Board of Directors , many of whom are educators , business leaders , and community professionals . The SVRCS Foundation will award grants and scholarships , and leverage community resources to support , strengthen , and improve the education of Sugar Valley Rural Charter School . The area of service will be within the geographic area served by Sugar Valley Rural Charter School and the Foundation will serve the needs of the students , faculty , staff , and graduating students of Sugar Valley Rural Charter School in executing this purpose .
Supporters of the SVRCS Foundation will work to solicit , generate , and distribute funds for scholarships , field trips , and other educational programs and initiatives at the Sugar Valley Rural Charter School . The SVRCS Foundation is a 501 ( c )( 3 ) non-profit , tax-exempt organization , made up of community members , gathered to support the efforts of the Sugar Valley Rural Charter School .
We are currently seeking donations for our Senior Scholarship Fund . Those wishing to donate can choose how their donations are distributed . There are three scholarship options ; your donation is used to fund a specific award with criteria of your choosing . You may donate towards awards selected / distributed by the foundation , or you may donate towards a pool of scholarship funds that are distributed equally among all graduates at this year ' s Commencement .
