Green Bean Crunchy Treats
Healthy & delicious, with a crunch dogs love! Ingredients:
• 1 1 / 4 cups of green beans, cooked, mashed or finely chopped
• 1 1 / 4 cups oat flour, finely ground, plain
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
Instructions:
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2) Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. 3) In a bowl, mash or finely chop cooked green beans until smooth. 4) Add the beaten egg and melted coconut oil, mixing until well combined. 5) Gradually add oat flour and mix until a firm dough forms. 6) Roll the dough to about 1 / 4 inch thickness on a lightly floured surface. 7) Cut into bone shapes using a cookie cutter.
8) Place on the tray and bake for 25- 30 minutes until firm and lightly crisp.
9) Turn off the oven and let the treats sit inside for 15- 20 minutes to dry further for extra crunch, then cool completely.
10) Store in an airtight container at room temp for up to 5 days or 10 in the fridge.
