Held at Empower Field at Mile High on March 20, TechCon 2025 once again delivered on its mission— to bring the nationally recognized content from conferences like AIM and OpTech home to Denver. Hosted by the Apartment Association of Metro Denver, this year’ s event drew nearly 400 multifamily professionals eager to explore the theme:“ The Art of the Balance: Finding Harmony between AI and Human Connection.”
With education at the forefront, the day featured standout sessions that bridged cutting-edge tech with the irreplaceable value of human experience. Entrata’ s Virginia Love and Mission Rock’ s Kevin Vertrees energized the crowd with a dynamic session on AI prompts, complete with crowd-pleasing, AI-generated industry songs and imagery. In another packed room, Clover Sharpe, Chloe Doherty, Laurel Zachner, and Lisa Jeffries shared takeaways from the hospitality strategy at Denver’ s own Clayton Club— highlighting how luxurylevel service standards can translate to multifamily living.
Panels including“ AI: Friend or Foe?” and“ Creating Your Customer’ s Experience” dug deep into the operational and ethical considerations of AI, providing attendees with tools to integrate technology without losing the human touch. Lori Snider led a powerful session with Felisha Austin and Jason Barlow on humanizing training, leaving attendees inspired to bring more empathy and authenticity into their teams.
Of course, none of this would be possible without TechCon’ s industryleading vendor partners. Presenting sponsor Digible made a splash once again, while the beloved Minute to Win It returned for a fourth year— offering sponsors 60 seconds to creatively pitch their value before co-chair Marcella Eppsteiner gave her signature babababou buzzer to end their time.
The day culminated in a moving keynote by Alex Sheen, founder of the Because I Said I Would movement. His message on accountability, purpose, and follow-through had the audience captivated in pin-drop silence, perfectly closing the loop on the day’ s theme of blending innovation with intention.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of the AAMD team, TechCon 2025 reminded us all: as we move boldly into the future of multifamily, the strongest innovations are those that bring us closer to one another.
