April showers bring May flowers … but as I sit here writing my monthly update it is snowing .
Minnesota loves to play tricks on us , a week of beautiful weather followed by cold and snow . Hopefully the sun and warmth will come and stay this month . I am thankful that I was able to get a couple rides and some grooming sessions in so far this spring .
April was a pretty quiet month , until the court and I spent the weekend at the MN Horse Expo . We loved seeing a bunch of our WSCA members that were able to stop by our booth in the Cattle Barn . Over the busy weekend we were able to share WSCA information to visitors that were enjoying the event . On Saturday of the MN Horse Expo the court and I got to spend some time walking the fairgrounds with Miss Rodeo Minnesota and other Minnesota royalty members . We had a blast greeting and taking lots of pictures with visitors .
May will be an extremely busy month as we ramp up for the beginning of show season . On May 6th the WSCA Board will be doing the cash raffle drawing at Arena Trailer Sales in Cannon Falls , MN . Good luck to all who purchased a raffle ticket , and thank you so much for your support to the Western Saddle Clubs Association .
The court and I will be getting together for a quick photo shoot this month as well . We are super excited to capture memories of our year as the WSCA Royalty . Stay tuned for pictures .
Calling all WSCA Saddle Club Queens !! The 2023 WSCA Royalty Contest is in search of contestants to participate in this years royalty contest .
