LETTER FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER
We had a very busy April , highlighted by our Masters Weekend , Easter Brunch , & Men ’ s Member Guest . Thank you to everyone who was able to join us for our events . We had great participation & we hope everyone had a great time !!! Congratulations to all of our winners !
We have an exciting May ahead planned for everyone ! We begin the month with our Kentucky Derby Watch Party on May 7th . We will feature Mint Julip drink specials , derby themed menu items , and a “ best dressed ” contest . On Sunday , May 8th we will be hosting our Mother ’ s Day Brunch . We are expecting a big crowd so make sure to RSVP as soon as possible . Additionally , we will be hosting our Club Championship & Super Senior Championship on May 14th & 15th , our PGA Championship Weekend Tournament on May 21st & 22nd , and our Memorial Day Flag Tournament & Cookout on the 30th .
We will be working to finish off the cart path work with some “ grinding ” beginning this week . All lips & unlevel pads around the facility will be ground down to make an ultra-smooth transition from pad to pad . Additionally , we will begin the work to the fairway bunker on hole # 5 . We will be reshaping this bunker and cleaning the area up to make it more appealing cosmetically and from a playability perspective . We will do our best to avoid any long term- interruptions to your playing experience …. But please note – we may play hole # 5 as a par 3 for a day or so . Additional details will be included in your weekly updates as we get closer to the break ground date .
Please make sure to mark your calendars for Wednesday , June 22nd . We will be hosting our Member Appreciation Casino Night at the Clubhouse . This night will feature some fun games , delicious food , and dancing . Be on the lookout for more details !
