LETTER FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT
Another season is upon us! May marks the time of year when we begin to see more precipitation. As the weather heats up in our humid climate, the afternoon thunderstorms begin the brew. Before you know it, our turf will be growing at a rapid pace. The rough will start to thicken, and we will be working nonstop to keep our 130-acre property continually mowed out. Please note the weather each week plays a key role in what our team can accomplish on the golf course.
We will continue our aerification program throughout the summer months with the smaller solid tines. Although the smaller tines require more frequent aerifications, the playability throughout the entire process remains good.
I hope you are enjoying the golf course!
