April and the beginning of May were busy tournament periods for the Club , with the Member- Guest that completely sold out and the Club and Super Senior Championships dominating the golf calendar . Congratulations to all the winners and for the efforts of the Club staff and all the volunteers and contributors that made the Member-Guest a great success !
The MGA schedule resumes in May with the popular “ 2 Best Balls , 2 Holes on Each Green ” tournament . Teams that are evenly divided by the Pro Shop play a scramble format to have the best combined net score to both holes that are in play on each green . Strategy comes into play as to who goes after which flag to minimize the total strokes for the team . The weather is still somewhat temperate , so make sure to sign-up early for this popular event .
