AAMD is one of three finalists for the National Apartment Association ' s Affiliate of the Year Award for 2020 . Despite the inability to meet , network or educate in person , AAMD ' s efforts in it ' s Membership , Education , Advocacy and Community Service were all considered in the judges decision to name AAMD a finalist .
" This year has been unique and challenging , but if there ' s one thing that remained constant through 2020 is that our members are still king ," said Mark Williams . " Delivering exceptional value to our membership was , and always will be , our top priority ."
AAMD is in good company - Washington Multifamily Housing Association and New Jersey Apartment Associations are other finalists . These and other affiliates across the nation have many talented teams who work to protect and enhance our great industry every day . Local and state affiliates share , learn and build upon each other ' s stregnths - making the NAA affiliate network a unique community .
