Restoring Our Past
The Balboa Park Committee of 100 ’ s hosted an official presentation to Mayor Todd Gloria and the San Diego Automotive Museum of the newly recreated works of public art for Balboa Park . The committee presented four ceramic tile murals to the City of San Diego featuring views of historic California representing commerce , scenic beauty , agriculture and industry . These artworks are beautiful additions to the Park and remind us of how we as a city can persevere even in the most trying times .

El Comité de los 100 del Parque Balboa le presentó oficialmente al alcalde Todd Gloria y al Museo del Automóvil de San Diego los nuevos trabajos recreados de arte público del Parque Balboa . El comité le ofreció a San Diego , cuatro murales realizados en baldosas de cerámica que muestran momentos históricos de California , donde se pueden apreciar el comercio , la belleza de los paisajes , la agricultura y la industria de la zona . Estas obras de arte se suman al Parque para recordarnos el modo en que nos podemos superar como ciudad , inclusive en los momentos más difíciles .
