1 . RDW Group , Inc . Sponsors Rhode Island Community Food Bank Drive During an event in this past December , RDW Group Inc , sponsored a food drive for the Rhode Island Community Food Bank . Volunteers packed in a truckload of received donations which will go towards the non-profit ’ s food bank helping individuals in need and local agencies . The RDW Group Inc is a Providence-based marketing agency committed to positive change for both their clients and community . Their efforts in collaborating with the RI Community Food Bank will help a community of up to 68,000 individuals the food bank serves monthly .
2 . United Way of Rhode Island 94th Annual Celebration More than 200 supporters logged on January 14 to commemorate United Way of Rhode Island ’ s 94th Annual Celebration . This virtual event additionally included the announcement of United Way ’ s LIVE UNITED 2025 strategic plan and $ 100 million commitment to build racial equity and opportunities to all Rhode Islanders .
This event also served to celebrate local community champions including :

3 . Rhode Island Monthly Announces a New Hire Edelinda Baptista has joined Rhode Island Monthly as an editorial assistant . She is a graduate of Western New England University and a former RIM intern .

Rhode Island Medical Imaging Honored by Healthcare Digital Marketing Awards Rhode Island Medical Imaging ( RIMI ) was honored by Healthcare Digital Marketing Awards for their month-long “ Breast Cancer Awareness Quiz ” in partnership with Rhode Island Monthly . The quiz , which was hosted on RIMonthly . com , allowed readers to test their knowledge and become aware of important information related to the disease during Breast Cancer Awareness Month .
