Guidelines for Yamaha Vehi-
cles
At Yamaha, the health and safety of our customers
and employees are first and foremost in our minds.
Our organization is constantly monitoring the
progress of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation
and we are following the precautions and guidelines
set forth by the CDC, WHO, and public officials.
As a valued customer of Yamaha, we truly hope that our products
have provided you, your family, and your friends with many enjoy-
able experiences. Times will get better, and very soon we will again
enjoy creating more memories that will last for years to come.
During this time, we wanted to provide some best practices that
we’ve compiled surrounding proper Yamaha vehicle cleaning and
disinfecting. We believe that by working together, we can help stop
the spread of this virus.
As of right now, golf remains one of the safer forms of exercise in
which people may participate. Should any of our customers wish
to play, Yamaha would like to encourage everyone to be mindful

According to the World Health
Organization, cleaning refers to
removing dirt and germs from
surfaces. Cleaning does not kill
germs, but by removing them,
it lowers their numbers and
the risk of spreading infection.
Disinfecting, however, refers to
using chemicals to kill germs
on surfaces. By killing germs
on a surface after cleaning, it
can further lower the risk of
spreading infection.
As our knowledge and under-
standing of the virus continues
to evolve, both cleaning and
disinfecting will be a critical
part of the defense against
COVID-19.
