PLAYING IT SAFE
Glenview Park Golf Club will open for golf on May 1 st , with a number of provisions to protect the safety of our customers,
employees and our community.
We believe golf can be played at a safe physical distance outdoors and that it affords social, spiritual and mental health benefits that are vital to
the well-being of golfers. We are committed to safety and have a plan in place allowing golfers to play with as little contact as possible while
adhering to the guidelines set forth by the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity
How THE EXPERIENCE is changed
Reservations Required
To provide proper spacing and pace on the golf course, we are
requiring an advanced tee time for all golfers.
All golfers are encouraged to book and prepay online at the time of
booking. You may also call the Golf Shop at (847) 724-0250 to reserve
your tee time and pay via phone. Pass Holders should call the Golf
Shop to make their tee time. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED, CREDIT
CARD ONLY.
Play Limitations
In accordance with state guidelines, reservations can only be made
for single players or twosomes. Monday thru Thursday, reservations will
only be available for 9-hole play off the front and back 9. Friday thru
Sunday will be 18-hole play only. The course will close and all players
must leave at 7pm.
The Clubhouse & Golf Shop are Closed
Our clubhouse is closed to the public. Coarse Italian will be serving
curbside pickup and delivery service ONLY. There will be no food or
beverage carts on course, per state restrictions.
Tee Times
15-minute tee time intervals will be scheduled to allow for adequate
physical distancing and limit the number of players on the course. To
afford everyone the opportunity to play, ONE TWOSOME
per person may be booked daily. Tee Times will be available from 6
a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Thursday and 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday thru
Sunday.
Pre-Pay Only
Glenview Prairie Club to Remain Closed
Based on staffing limitations, Glenview Prairie Club will remain closed.
We will open Glenview Prairie Club if customer demand allows.
How THE GAME & COURSE has changed
Don’t Touch the Flag Stick
We cannot disinfect the flag sticks often enough and since they are a
central gathering point they must remain. The cups have been
inverted for No Contact ball retrieval.
NO Riding Cart, Push Cart Rentals or Club Rentals
Please plan to walk & carry or bring your own push cart.
ALL Touch Points are Removed
Bunker rakes, ball washers, sand bottles and benches have been
removed from the course. Please replace divots, repair ball marks
and use your foot to smooth out the sand .
On Course Bathrooms and Water Fountains
The only bathrooms currently available on the course are located
between Hole 13 and 14. Water is NOT available on course. Please
bring your own bottle.
Putting Green, Practice Cage are CLOSED
Stretch out at your car before entering the course.
How YOU CAN HELP keep it SAFE
If you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms, have a fever, or have
been exposed to someone with COVID-19 please stay home and
protect other players.
Bring your own hand sanitizer
Help keep your partner and other players safe and sanitize
your hands frequently.
Stray Balls
Please respect our neighbors – do not retrieve any balls that
are hit off course.
Be a Good Citizen
With everyone following the guidelines and rules set forth, we
are able to provide a safe and fun golf experience. If patrons
do not observe these rules, the course may close or further
restrict access to all golfers
Trash Receptacles are not available
Keep the course clean by carrying out anything that you carry onto
the course.
Maintain Space with your playing partner
High fives and handshakes are normally encouraged but for now
keep your space from playing partners. Stay at least 6 feet away at
tee boxes and greens, handle your own scorecard, ball and clubs.
15 minutes prior to your tee time and approach the 1 st tee when
called by the starter.
Don’t Play if you’re Sick
Navigating the entrance
All players arriving to the course should enter via the south sidewalk.
Upon exiting the 18 th green, please return to your vehicles
immediately from the north sidewalk. Please do not arrive more than
How WE are keeping you SAFE
Minimum Basic Operations
We are limiting staff contact by maintaining only minimum basic
operations. Staff are required to stay home if they are ill or in contact
with someone who is ill. Additionally, we’re avoiding close contact
whenever possible.
Golf Shop Purchases
Call ahead and prepay if you need to purchase anything from the
Golf Shop. We’ll place it in a hold area outside for contactless pick-
up.
Extra Enforcement of Hygiene
Staff are upping their hand washing and frequently disinfecting
common touch points and on course washrooms.
Hours of Operation
Tee times will be available 6am – 5pm daily. Golf course closes at
7pm. You will need to be off the course at that time. Hours subject to
change.

The Glenview Park District may adjust fees based on demand and to
cover operational expenses under these limited play conditions.
