Ethan Behm and Dylan Parcheta are cousins but
most of all, best friends. They are typical teen-
age boys who enjoy spending their spare time
with friends, listening to music, playing video
games and being outdoors.

the tragic events that unfolded at Marjo-

ry Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland
Florida, where the boys are residents, they were
determined to help the victims and families of
this horrible event.
With the support from their families, they start-
ed the non-profit charity, Carts 4 a Cause. The
boys reached out to Jeffrey Allen Inc. and Nivel
Parts for donations, and both companies were
more than happy to help with their project.
Jeffrey Allen Inc. donated a golf cart and Nivel
Parts donated brand new parts and accesso-
ries. Ethan and Dylan then took the used cart
totally apart. They had it painted and rebuilt it
to make the cart look brand new. Once the boys
completed the rebuild, they held a raffle for
donations to raise funds for a charity they are
passionate about. The first charity the boys are
working with is Meadow’s Playground. Meadow
Pollack was one of the 17 victims of Stoneman
Douglas. Her father, Andrew Pollack, is build-
ing a playground and garden in memory of
his daughter. He had a big fundraiser recently
where the boys attended. The boys received
many donations for the raffle as well as online
through their website. The boys raised $5,000
for Meadow’s Playground. 100% of all donations
will go to the charity they are working with.
This adventure has allowed the boys to get
down and dirty, use their hands, learn new
skills, and really feel what it’s like to help oth-
ers and make a difference. Carts 4 a Cause has
become very important to them and they love
what they are doing. They are very excited to
continue this journey and help as many people
as they can along the way.
