GRADUATION Leadership Shelby County class honored at graduation celebration On April 10, the Leadership Shelby County Class of 2017-2018 was honored at a graduation celebration held at Indiana Grand Racing and Casino. During the graduation, the class participants presented their group projects which include The Alley, Shelbyville Bark Park and Young Professionals of Shelby County. The Alley is working to activate the alley between Washington Street and Franklin Street, one block from the public square. The Alley will be a gathering place for residents and visitors for special events, private rental and community events. Shelbyville Bark Park is a project to bring a dog park to Shelbyville. The dogs will have a place to roam while their owners can enjoy the outdoors and conversations with each other. Young Professionals of Shelby County is to bring together young professionals in a fun, healthy career- oriented environment. This will include, but not be limited to, hosting various social activities/events, community outreach and other avenues for business relationships or career opportunities.
