RICHARD D. LATENDRESSE
CANAAN, Vt.– Richard D. Latendresse, 70, of Canaan, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at the Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook after a months-long and courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Sherbrooke, Que., on Oct. 19, 1946, a son to Herve Latendresse and Marie Luce Megre. He grew up in La Patrie, Que.
For most of his professional career, he was a self-employed truck driver and lumberjack. In 1989, he and his wife purchased Maurice’ s Motel in Canaan, and they later also owned and operated the Northland Restaurant,
