Page 7 THE MAGAZINE ROOM It s May already and the show season is in full effect. We ve already had some good shows like Spring Fling in Florida, Texas Round-Up in the longhorn state, Art of Noize in Sunny Arizona and Forbidden Fantasy out on the West Coast. This month we have photographers at Relaxin in So Cal, Showfest Tunica, MS and Beatersville in the Bluegrass state of Kentucky. Everyone have a safe trip while traveling to shows this month. In this May 2012 issue you will find some awesome features and shows from Coast to Coast. We start off with the beautiful and super-hot Yaris Broadway on the cover with Wes Adkins Sinister 1967 Ford F100 that gives a new meaning to BAD ASS. Slamology 2011 Best of show winner John Wargo is up next with his flawless 1968 Camaro Convertible Grand Sport . Just one look at this car and it is easy to see he why he walked away with the 2011 Heavy Weight Belt, watch for John in 2012 season; He has a new project that will blow your socks off Candy Passion describes our next ride that Igot to shoot last summer. It s a 2003 GMC Denali that is covered in candy paint and filled with sound. The guys over at Lucky sAutosports did an awesome job on this build! In Late 2011 while on a trip to Minnesota BLT and I captured Darkside , a 1991 Chevrolet C1500 owned by Adam Gilbertson. It is a very clean black on black sport truck from the Sota. Don t miss this one! For shows this month we start with Cavalcade of Customs 2012 in Cincinnati, OH. This is always a great show put on by Championship Auto Shows. This year Spade Kreations had a booth that was out of this world. Thanks for the Free Drinks Guys!!!. Next we have the Dropt-N-Destroyed show put on by Dropt Out C.C. in Northern Ohio. The 2011 event was held at an Air Museum and made the perfect location for a show. Hartly and I were on scene capturing all the festivities. Moving down south to Tennessee Brad and Doug Walker covered the Relaxed Atmosphere All Star Event. This show is always a great time with many clubs making the trip from across the United States. Next in this month s massive lineup is Rippin Gears Show in Tunica, MS. Brad Walker has the time of his life in a casino parking lot full of nice rides ranging from Hot Rods to Mini Trucks. Last but not least the World Famous West Coast Nationals covered by our very ownstaff pirate, Chromey. This show is held in Parker, Arizona on the river. So when you get hot from the sun or the quality rides you can go for a swim. Bob Haze and his crew have been really stepping this show up it is a must attend for 2012.
