Stepping into
the Commercial
Hydro Industry
I would like to thank Maximum
Yield for the knowledge I now
possess after reading all of the
expert advice you present. With
your magazine I have been
able to keep up with all of the
innovations happening in this
industry. I have been growing
indoors as a hobbyist for more
than 15 years now. I started
out with a single fluorescent
tube and hand-watered coco
bucket, and I now have six

large indoor systems, from ebb
and flow to NFT. Most recently I have stepped into the world
of commercial greenhouse hydroponics. Without Maximum
Yield, I don’t believe I would have been able to come this far,
even with all of the information available online. Maximum
Yield has given me a knowledge base that most growers seem
reluctant to part with. Thanks again!

Subscriptions Available?
I’m a big fan of your magazine but I find it difficult
to get my hands on all of the issues because
they fly off the shelves at my hydro shop. Can
you help me resolve this by helping me
obtain a subscription? I really enjoy your
magazine and would be thrilled to
get my hands on as many issues
as possible. I’m sure I’m missing
out on a lot of information and
knowledge due to not being
able to get most of your issues.
I really hope you can help
as I find your magazines
extremely informative!

More from the Manufacturers
I have been a farmer for three years now and I started
developing a very big interest in fully controllable soilless
growing with artificial lighting in a closed environment
system. I am interested in growing tomatoes, cucumbers and
green beans. I would like to get some information from the
manufacturers that sell hydroponic systems for commercial
use. This would be for a first-time small-scale project, of
course. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Editor’s Note: Hello, George. The manufacturers in
the hydro industry are always eager to share their
knowledge. Many of their websites are chock-full of
feeding charts, lighting calculators and other informative
resources. Don’t hesitate to g
