Well, the hardest was not only the engineering and polymer industry, but making sure that what you design can be manufactured and transported with efficiency to ensure the final cost to the customer is fair and affordable. How did you gain market share and recognition? Well, it’s been a learning curve, but by marketing in magazines and attending every expo possible in order to educate the industry and give back something to our customers that will help them every step of the way. Our social media outlets have also been a way of communicating with happy customers and followers domestic or foreign, allowing us to extend our reach globally. What was the main thing you learned about starting and growing a company? There are a lot of sleepless nights and working around the clock to get things done right regardless of your title. We all work together and have one goal in mind. Has your company moved or expanded since the beginning? We are based in Downtown Miami, FL, and have a factory in Grand Haven, MI, and Lebanon, OH. 72 Maximum Yield Has your product line expanded? Yes! Not only did we start off with our 10-gallon planter, non-water or nutrient absorbing inserts, manifolds, sprayers, control valves, plus our antimicrobial planters approved by the EPA and FDA, but now we are glad to introduce the three-gallon planter (tents), 1.2-gallon (commercial), nine custom fittings, five-gallon insert, and a host of other things we felt we needed to pivot sooner than later. Where do you distribute? We distribute directly to stores and are currently working out some distribution deals around the world. We currently have products in Washington state, Alaska, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, Illinois, Florida, Oregon, California, Texas, New York, and a host of other states in the US, but also have our products in Canada, Australia, and are quickly making our way to other markets like the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Colombia, and around the world. What are your company’s strengths? We are a people company. Our focus is to the grower. We don’t believe in 800 numbers and extensions. You can call the CEO anytime, just like you would any salesman at our company. We are all cross-trained to help in a variety of situations. Our motto is, if you failed, we failed you.
