ince it’s our 17 th anniversary edition of Maximum Yield USA, I
thought I’d go through our library and take a look at some of our
original magazines. All I can say is what a difference 17 years makes.
Our inaugural issue was made from newsprint and was a wafer-thin
30 pages. The design elements by today’s standards were basic, as
were the ads. Still, it harbored the spirit of the industry and served its
purpose of educating and informing our readers about the latest in
products and techniques.
That part hasn’t changed. While the modern edition of Maximum Yield
is a full-gloss, 160-plus pages packed with the latest in technology,
equipment, and techniques, it remains free and dedicated to serving the
industry. We couldn’t do it without our readers, advertisers, and industry
partners, some of whom have been with us since Day 1, so the team
here at Maximum Yield would like to say thank you to friends past and
present who have helped us make it this far. We hope to continue those
friendships and partnerships in the years to come.
With that said, the content has progressed significantly, too. In this issue,
you can learn about advanced topics such as LED footprints and light
planning, vertical farms, and EC versus PPM, as well as more traditional
subjects like indoor composting, transplanting, and container gardening.
Our cover feature, hydroponic apps, is something we never would have
dreamed of 17 years ago, and it leaves me wondering what changes will
happen to our industry in the years to come.
As always, thanks for reading Maximum Yield and if you have any
questions feel free to contact us at [email protected].
