Can you tell us a little bit
about your business?
Josh, Wayne, and Joey sift the big
chunks out of finished compost.
We are a non-profit corporation located in Northern
California in the Plumas National Forest. We have a
58-acre property where we do research trials comparing
test plots with biology added, with no biology added,
and with conventional fertilizers.
We offer products, online classes, and testing.
Dr. Elaine Ingham is our science director and runs the
soil foodweb lab testing program and is on the board
of directors. I [Dr. Carole Ann Rollins] am president
and on the board of directors, and I write books
with Dr. Ingham and run the research farm, the
online classes, and the certified consultant
program. James Eddington is vice-president
and runs the Oroville store, warehouse,
manufacturing, and marketing and
distribution of Nature’s Solution products.
We have a warehouse storefront in the
town of Oroville at 2330 Bird St. where we
manufacture, repackage, and distribute the
Nature’s Solution brand of products (Compost
Tea, Sea Kelp, Humic Acid [powder], Humate
[liquid], Worm Castings, and Mycorrhizal
Fungi). We also produce a few other beneficial
microorganisms, beneficial protozoa, and bacterial-
and fungal-feeding nematodes on a limited basis.
We distribute books on the basic of organic
growing written by Dr. Ingham and myself. We
administer online classes taught by Dr. Ingham,
soil life certification programs, and intensive
trainings. We coordinate consultants around the world
in a variety of growing situations and countries.
