Maximum Yield
A
s the new year arrives it brings with
it change, optimism, and a little bit of
uncertainty. This is what we celebrate as the
calendar flips from 2018 to 2019. It’s a time
to reflect on all that has been accomplished
over the past year and prepare for the
challenges that lay ahead.
Here at Maximum Yield, 2018 was a year of
challenges, accomplishments, and change.
As the grow industry landscape changed as
never before, we, too, had to change.
We restarted with rebuilding our distribution
system so that Maximum Yield was directly
distributed via FedEx to hydro stores,
ensuring trackable distribution. This allows
us to pinpoint exactly how many copies are
going out and where they’re going, while
maximizing our reach so as many readers
as possible can benefit from the helpful
information found within the magazine. For a
current map of where to find Maximum Yield,
check out maximumyield.com. Of course,
magazines distributed through our hydro
retail partners are still free.
To complement our hydro store distribution,
we also entered mainstream retail distribution
to engage an even broader audience. In the
US, readers can now find Maximum Yield
and Maximum Yield Cannabis at Barnes
and Noble, our first foray in 21 years onto the
newsstand. To make this work, we had to
rebrand some of our magazines, so we went to
work with sleek new cover designs, improved
layout design, and cutting-edge content from
some of the industry’s best writers.
In modern day publishing, however, print isn’t
enough. In 2018 we also upgraded our website,
introduced our MY app, and increased our
social presence so our articles and products can
reach you no matter where you are.
We’re not done yet, and we can’t wait to see
what 2019 brings. With that said, from the
Maximum Yield team to you and yours, we
wish you a 2019 filled with joy, happiness,
and beautiful gardens.
