LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Fan Gains a Green Thumb
with Maximum Yield
I’m a fan of Maximum Yield
because the name says it all—
Maximum Yield! The content
of the magazine is straightforward and to the point, with a
lot of Q&A I can relate to so
I can ensure my green thumb
does not wilt and fall off. The
magazine is where I can learn
about products—both new and
well-established—that are ideal
for growing. The magazine is
constantly teaching me new
Jordain Collins
ways to maximize my garden’s
growth. For this I want to say thank you to the team at Maximum
Yield for the knowledge I have gained. You have definitely made
me a better gardener. My garden thanks you, too.

Editor’s Note: Jordain has won $100 to spend at his favorite
indoor gardening shop, Growers Paradise in Ontario, Canada,
for telling us why he loves Maximum Yield. Could you use an
extra $100 to spend at the hydro shop? Enter Maximum Yield’s

Thanks from a Grower
I went to Skyes the Limit this morning and Melissa was waiting
for me. She had printed out a “Congratulations” notice and
taped it by the counter. She was wondering when I might stop
by to spend my I’m a Fan prize money. Melissa was genuinely
excited about being mentioned in Maximum Yield for the second
time! Thanks again for everything.

Sourcing Samples
First of all let me just say I love Maximum Yield. From the first
time I picked up the magazine I have always looked to it for
answers and reviews of all the latest must-haves. I wanted to
ask, how would I go about picking up samples of some of the
products mentioned in your magazine?
John B.
Editor’s Note: Hi John, thanks for the question. The best thing
to do is attend an Indoor Gardening Expo. We have two shows
coming up: one in San Francisco, July 23-24, and another in
Vancouver, Canada, August 13-14. Hundreds of samples will be
available for you to pick up there. Otherwise, try reaching out
to the manufacturers personally. Many of them are happy to
ship free samples in the hopes you try out their products and
provide them with your feedback. You might also try asking the
people at your hydro store, or attending one of their customer
appreciation events. Good luck!
So Much More
I’m a fan of Maximum Yield because it’s so much more than just
a magazine. The information it provides for both beginners and
expert growers exceeds other sites or magazines about growing.
The expert contributors and the staff are always there for the
reader. Maximum Yield saved my garden last year and helped
me beat the bank .

Applications for Oil
Curious grower here wondering if flax seed oil would have any
benefit in hydroponics other than as a defoamer?
Lance H.
Editor’s Note: Interesting question, Lance. We will find an
expert in the field who knows. It might make for an interesting
article in a future issue.
Why No Induction?
Maximum Yield has given me the best information about growing
I could ever ask for, and in terms that are easy to understand,
but I was wondering why don’t you cover induction lighting in any
of your articles?
Blake T.
Editor’s Note: Thanks for the question, Blake. We’ll put the call
out to writers and see what they have to say. In the meantime,
check out maximumyield.com where the topic has been addressed
in various lighting articles.
Learning Never Stops
I’m a fan of Maximum Yield because in this game you never
stop learning and every time I pick up a copy there is a moment
where I go, “Wow, that’s where I was going wrong.” The best part
about the magazine is that the articles and product reviews help
me save a lot of time and money.
