What Grow Tent is Right for You?
Using a grow tent can take your indoor gardening efforts to the
next level. A dedicated enclosure like a grow tent provides excellent environmental control, and the right tent can maximize valuable
resources like light energy and open space. Like choosing the right
car or right house, the more you understand going in, the better your
ultimate decision will be.
Root Rot Remedies
CURRENT WINNER!
Root rot is a tricky problem for indoor growers because it is a condition that can go undetected. As the name suggests, root rot is a
condition where roots rot, usually due to receiving too much water
and not enough oxygen. The culprit is actually the growth of an evil
fungi called Pythium spp., which we encourage you to get to know so
you are familiar with the enemy.
Taking Control
Anyone can garden indoors, but to be successful, it is important to
provide your plants with the growing conditions they need to thrive.
Providing the right environment takes a bit of preparation and ongoing maintenance. At a minimum, you’ll need to consider temperature,
humidity and light. You should also think about things like ventilation,
insulation and even pests.
Powering Photosynthesis
I’M A FAN!
CONTEST
The interaction between plants and light is at the foundation of crop
production. Light not only powers photosynthesis, producing essential
sugars for growth and development, but it is also involved in a wide
range of other plant processes. We examine how light intensity interacts
with a number of other factors to determine the rate of photosynthesis.
