Tell us a little about how G8LED started.
G8LED was started by electrical engineers turned indoor
growers. Using our design and manufacturing network,
we decided to create an efficient indoor grow system
using the advanced LED technology available at the time.
After going through several rounds of designing, growing,
testing and feedback, we were able to formulate a highyielding lighting system that could give customers the
results they were looking for.
How has the company grown over the years?
From our humble beginnings, we expanded grassroots-style
through word-of-mouth referrals from our indoor gardening contacts. For the first few years, we experienced a fierce
resistance to LED grow lights because of subpar products.
Customers were not able to get the results they were looking for
with these subpar products and this tainted the entire industry.
