What's to come...

This summer I’ll be attempting the prestigious Bob Graham Round. It’s a 70 mile run with over 27000 feet of climbing around the entire Lake District to be completed in under 24 hours. The outstanding runner Scott Jurek recently attempted it while in the UK and completed it just 15 minutes inside the cut off time so, while it’s by no means the longest ultra event in the world, it is not without it’s challenges.

I’ll be doing more ultras throughout the winter as well as remaining a constant fixture at our local fell races and some further afield as well throughout the race season.

In terms of kiting, on top of what I’m already doing, I’ll also be working on some video projects throughhout the year to showcase some of the cold water potential we have here in the UK but before that will also be spending some time kitesurfing and running in the Canaries this summer while gearing up for spending the smaller part of the winter in Cape Town.

Beyond that, my plans for the future ahead are to keep pushing myself in nature and the great outdoors. I feel very fortunate to live the life I do but am aware that there are a great number of places I haven't yet seen and challenges, both in the ocean and in the mountains, that I haven't yet undertaken. It is my hope that in the coming years I'll be able to put myself to the test and see just where the path I'm on will lead...
