Project Overview Snow World Ventures intends to build the first Snow World Activity Center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The center will include a climate controlled building, snow generation equipment, and a large multi-function area primarily focused around the fastest growing snow sport, Snow Tubing. Snow Tubing is a fun sport that requires little or no skill to undertake, is safe, appeals to all ages, and can be enjoyed by the entire family. In addition to tubing, the Snow World activity center will also offer other family events such as ice skating, dog sledding, skiing, snow boarding, and of course, a snow play wonderland. The facility will also contain an observations area, restaurant/ snack bars and party room, market place, photo center, and ski/snow board training. Considering the Great Smoky Mountain is know for the winter ski slope a year round snow attraction is certain to be the most sought after attraction on the Pigeon Forge Parkway. Snow World with the 60,000 square foot facility (150’x400’) will surely stand out from the crowd entertainment venues, as many tourists will be lured here by the ambiance of the indoor world of snow. T he snow falling constantly and the artificial icicles on the walls and ceilings, coupled with a professional sound and light system, will provide an atmosphere of excited, enjoyment, and amazement. Five feet of snow will cover the entire indoor snow area. Snow tubing will be on one side of the building and the middle will be a snow lay wonderland with continuous planned activities. On the other end will be ice skating and dog sledding. The market shops will be found under the snow tube platform. A water filtration system will be constructed to reuse melted snow and will be one of several things at Snow World to certify the business as “green”.
