MEET THE CAST JAKE TRUEMPER BIG KID/PARENT/HENCHMAN/ SALSA DANCER *NORA YATES KIDS ENSEMBLE/DOCTOR/ JUDGE Hometown: Cedar Rapids Hometown: North Liberty Profession: Radio Host Profession: Student Matilda will be Jake’s 6th production at TCR. Previous work at TCR includes a chorus member in Beauty and the Beast, a featured dancer in Annie, and Chad in the Underground Play Festival. Matilda will be Nora’s first production at TCR. Other roles include Louise in the University of Iowa’s main stage production of Sunday in the Park with George and an 18th Century child in Young Footliters Youth Theatre’s production of Sleepy Hollow. Jake’s experience with other arts companies includes Kyle the UPS man in Legally Blonde, Mr. Wickham in Pride and Prejudice, and Guy in Check Please. Nora was also one of 25 children from across the U.S. to be invited to attend the Ultimate Music Vocal Summit where she worked with celebrity coaches to perform a song live in front of a Grammy-winning band. “Shout out to Seth who’s in the show!” SHAUNA WILLIAMS BIG KID/PARENT/HENCHMAN/ SALSA DANCER Hometown: Cedar Rapids Profession: Billing Account Manager This will be Shauna’s third production at TCR. She was Florika/Ensemble for The Hunchback of Notre Dame and on the costume crew for Newsies. Shauna has also enjoyed two performances with the Cedar Rapids Follies at the Paramount Theatre. “I would like to thank my parents for always pushing me and being supportive.
