Ashley plays clarinet in band, she’s in choir, and plays volleyball and soccer. “I would like to thank to my parents for letting me participate in Matilda. And I would like to thank my family and friends for giving me courage to do this musical.” *ELLA BANNER KIDS ENSEMBLE/DOCTOR Hometown: Cedar Rapids Profession: 4th grader, Prairie Creek This is Ella’s first production at TCR. Ella loves gymnastics, particularly cartwheels and aerials! She also plays volleyball. “I would like to thank everyone who is in Matilda for trying hard to make this performance great. Family and friends have done so many good things for me and I thank them for that.” FERIN BERGEN MISS HONEY/THE ACROBAT Hometown: Cedar Rapids This is Ferin’s fourth production at TCR. Previous TCR roles include Heather McNamara in Heathers the Musical and Ermengarde in Hello, Dolly! Also, thank YOU for joining us and enjoy the show!” *ANDREW BODDICKER ESCAPOLOGIST/ENTERTAINER/ BIG KID/PARENT Hometown: Walker Profession: Business owner, music teacher After a long hiatus from the stage Andrew is excited to be a part of Matilda! It is his first TCR production. “Thank you to my parents who have always supported my endeavors and thank you for supporting local theater!” MIGUEL DAVIDSON RUDOLPHO/BIG KID Hometown: Cedar Rapids Profession: Student Matilda will be Miguel’s 10th show at TCR! Throughout the years, Miguel has taken on many different roles, from being dance captain in the ensemble, to a lost boy in Neverland. However, Keno, the striving Chippendale artist, was one of his favorites. Miguel did many other productions during his time at George Washington High School. In addition, other works include the wonderful Rocky Horror Picture Show at Cornell College, as well as a few other memorable productions at the Giving Tree Theater, like The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee as Mitch Mahoney! “I would just like to thank my mom and each and every one of my friends for believing in me, and really helping me become the wonderful person and performer that I am today!” 33
