Accelerated Geometry B/ Advanced Algebra Course Description: This is the second in the sequence of mathematics courses designed to ensure that students are prepared to take higher level mathematics courses during their high school career, including Advanced Placement Calculus AB, Advanced Placement Calculus BC, and Advanced Placement Statistics. Specific topics include quadratic expressions, equations, and functions, real number system, complex number system, polynomial, rational, and radical functions, drawing inferences and conclusions from statistical data, and probability. Students bring together all of their experience with functions and geometry to create models and solve contextual problems.
