We asked Zen Honeycutt what inspired her to devote so much time and energy to raise wider awareness of GMOs, pesticides and environmental toxins.
She explained that many toxins are present in the foods we consume. They are an insidious long-term danger to health because they accumulate progressively inside our bodies over time. We are being poisoned and our governments and big corporations know it but are conspiring to hide the data from us.
We are all Guinea pigs in a giant and unregulated experiment. Untoward changes in our body’s external or internal environment are disturbing our immunity to diseases, displacing a natural equilibrium, which would normally automatically adapt itself through a self-regulatory and involuntary mechanism known as homeostasis.
For her activism in wanting to expose the secret science behind it all, Zen has endured repeated personal attacks. She has drawn the ire of many mega corporations for exposing their reliance on questionable additives in everything from orange juice to vaccines.
