Fear causes double mindedness, which then causes instability or chaos. What a contrast to a “sound mind.”

It has been my experience that what I know least about can be a source of some of my greatest fears. I remember when I was performing hemodialysis treatments on kidney failure people, many times a newly diagnosed person would be very apprehensive about what was about to happen.

I would give careful detailed instructions and information to try and prepare them, but in many cases, it was not until they had been through the treatment that they became more at ease. Their next treatment went so much better because they now had the knowledge of experience and knew what to expect. Their fear had been replaced by knowledge and truth.

I would like to close by saying that fear is really a choice. You can choose to let fear rule over your life, or you can choose to gain knowledge and take control of your life. You may not be able to control every aspect of your life, but you can control how you react to what takes place in your life. The choice is yours.

Remember – Fear is a Mind Killer!
